See slideshow below for Sling Control installation. The shock cord is sent intentionally long so the end user can cut to fit their specific application. Tighten the free end of the shock cord (with the shock cord inserted) in the Sling Control tab using the supplied wrench. The set screw should be flush with the top of the tab like the factory installed screw, and the shock cord should be held tight. Slideshow below shows cord routing options.
