Sling Control Micro

Description

Subrevtech Sling Control Micro is an extremely low profile, multi-configurable sling retention device in the spirit of our existing Sling Control products. Unlike our existing products Micro has no direct rail attachment method. This allows the user to configure Micro for almost any rifle. In its’ simplest form Micro can be used as an unattached rail strap. Use it to secure slings, cables, tools, etc to your rail or stock. For more secure attachment the shock cord can be woven through any available holes or slots in your rail or stock (please refer to Instructions for detail about attachment methods).

CONFIG-1 (Video Below): There are two main configurations for Micro. Config-1 allows the user to hook Micro to a picatinny rail.  The hook is designed to interface with the side profile of the rail and a locating tab ensures that it stays in the chosen slot. The outer profile is shaped to reduce the risk of snag which could potentially release a sling accidentally. Micro is easily released from the rail when intended and will hold any sling very securely with adequate cord tension.

CONFIG-2 (Video Below): Rather than attaching to the rail, Config-2 hooks the shock cord back onto Micro (please refer to Instructions for more detail).  When positioned on the opposite side of the sling near the pic rail Micro has a lower profile than our MLOK45 yet can be setup to hold a sling extremely tight. There is less risk of snag and accidental release with this method, however releasing the sling by pushing down on the hook is quite easy.

SC-Micro is 3D printed in the US from fiberglass filled nylon and comes with an extra long section of shock cord (so you can experiment with placement) as well as a hex key for securing the cord. Due to the way Micro interfaces with the rail some surface abrasion on the device is expected and painted surfaces can be worn.
